Industrial Wood Pellets
Industrial pellets are intended for industrial users.
Wood pellets are made by pressing wood/scraps, which is firstly crushed by a hammer mill in order to obtain even mass. This mass is put into press, where it is squeezed through a shape containing required size holes (usually 6 mm in diameter, sometimes 8 mm or larger).
Due to high pressure of pressing, the temperature of wood rises a lot and lignin slightly layers, thus creating natural glue binding agent, which becomes firmer while cooling down and maintains the form of a pellet.
