UAB “Bageta” is certified with FSC® (NC-COC-025214). Since April of 2020, the company sells FSC certified wood products. We may offer our client FSC certified wood products that meet strict and clearly defined FSC standards. They guarantee that the wood originated from a properly controlled forest, where environmental protection is harmonised with social wellbeing and long-term economic benefit.

International Plant Protection Convention (IPPC) requires the wood and its products that are exported to be processed in accordance with the requirements of ISPM 15 standard. The standard specifies globally accepted measures to control, prevent the entry and spread of quarantine pests with wood packaging material.

Wood Treatment

The wood treated in accordance with IPPC/ISMP15 standard is marked with special signs that identify the standard, the company that treated the wood and the date of treatment.

The only currently approved means of treating wood and its products is heat treatment (HT), where the wood is treated at a temperature of at least 56 °C for at least 30 minutes across the entire cross-section of the wood.

ENplus® is a world leading wood pellets certification system. Its main goal is to ensure constant quality by including the entire supply chain of wood pellets: from reception of raw materials and production process to delivery to the final user.
